During 2007, more than 14,000 people in passenger vehicles died in crashes while unbelted. About half of these lives could have been saved if they had been wearing seat belts at the time of the crash. As sad as this statistic is, the numbers are even worse at night than during the day, according to new figures release by the National Highway Traffic safety Administration.
That is why the Tulsa Police Department is joining state and local law enforcement agencies and highway safety groups in supporting an aggressive national Click It or Ticket seat belt enforcement campaign from May 18 through May 31. Police will be ticketing unbelted vehicle occupants around the clock--night and day.

I just want to know something. I'm not trying to complain. Let me tell you a small story. My ex wife was involved by being hit by a drunk driver. She broke C6 and C7 and sufford some spinal colem damage. She is paralyzed from the chest down. Including not even being able to breath on her own. Tragic story i know. The point of this blog is a know a guy named Thomas Andrew Keith that has multiple DUI's and hasn't had a drivers license in i dont know how many years. Yet through the legal system he remains a free man. Even though he had another Felony DUI under a suspended sentence for a previouse DUI Felony. However with no drivers license and the fact that he gets up every day and drives himself to work. Not to mention how hes not in jail is beyond me. He is a free man. My wife who never did anything worse then divorce me and it was a peaceful divorce. We still remain very close. How in the world does this guy get these freedoms. Don't get me wrong i know your job isnt easy and maybe im looking for a profesional to give me some sense of justice of thats what you call it. He still drinks every day. He still has no drivers license. Yet he is free. She is paralyzed and she never did anything to hurt a soul. Its a matter of time when a guy like this runs around doing whatever he wants, not that he kills himself but kills an entire family coming home from dinner perhaps. Its just not right. He drives everyday and has had 2 Felony DUI's in a 1 year period with prior alcahol related incodents. Including other DUI's. Though be it his first were years ago. But he still does whatever he wants and it hasnt changed his ways. He still drinks. He still drinks and drives. He still drinks and drives with no license. Thats not justice. How hard could it possibly be to just simply catch him driving. He has no license. Chances are he would be drunk. Yet there he is doin whatever he feels he can do. Thats just not right. Once again his name is Thomas Andrew Keith. Look his record up. You will see its no joke. Listen i'm really not trying to get him in trouble i don't think. I dont know maybe i just want justice. Just once true justice. I honestly hope he doesn't kill somebody. Including himself. With people like him though its not IF its WHEN. I guess i feel better cause atleast i warned you and i will print this out. If this actually gets to somebody that listens or cares. I want to Thank You.
