VICTIM: Priscilla’s

SYNOPSIS:  Robbery Detectives need help in locating a subject who robbed a local business.  On January 27, 2008, at 8:27 p.m., Priscilla’s located at 11344 E. 11th Street was robbed. A Hispanic male entered the stored and walked around posing as a customer.  The suspect looked around for few minutes and then went to the counter as if he was going to make a purchase. When the clerk looked up the suspect was pointing a black semi-automatic weapon at her. The suspect told the victim if she didn’t give him the money that he would shoot her. The suspect took an undetermined amount of cash. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 25 yoa, 5’10” and 170-180 lbs. The subject was wearing a white OU ball cap, a tan colored coat, a red polo-style shirt, blue jeans and white tennis shoes.

Seeking person of interest in traffic fatality

The Tulsa Police Department is requesting the media assistance in locating Joshua Edward Clark. Anyone that may have information on the whereabouts of Joshua Edward Clark please contact the Tulsa Police Department. Clark is a person of interest in the Traffic Fatality that occurred at 300 S. Mingo Road. Detectives believe that he may have information regarding this incident. See attached photo.

Crime of the Week, 01/23/08

CRIME TYPE: Armed Robbery
         
DATE:  December 28, 2007
          
TIME: 8:00 a.m.

LOCATION:  5032 S. Sheridan Road

VICTIM: Taco Bueno

SYNOPSIS: On Friday, December 28, 2007 at approximately 8:10 a.m., the Taco Bueno at 5032 S. Sheridan Road was robbed by a black male.  The robber entered the store and pointed a sawed-off shotgun at the manger. The suspect took the money from the cash registers and the safe. After getting the money the suspect left the store and was last seen getting into a dark blue Ford Crown Victoria. The vehicle was described as having spoke wheels or hubcaps and spotlights mounted on each side of the windshield. The vehicle was described as clean. The suspect was described as 5’06” to 5’08” and 150-165 lbs., 20-28 years old. The suspect had a blue stocking cap pulled down over his face, with eye holes cut into it.

CRIME TYPE: 2nd Degree Burglary

LOCATION:   5234 N. Peoria Avenue

VICTIM: Med-X

SYNOPSIS: On December 31, 2007 between 1:55 a.m. and 2:10 a.m., the Med-X drug store at 5234 N. Peoria Avenue was burglarized. Surveillance cameras show two individuals entering the store through the roof of the business. Once inside the store the subjects took several bottles of prescription drugs.  Both suspects exited the store through the roof. The subjects are described only as black males. One subject was wearing a gray hoodie and a black stocking cap. The other subject was wearing a black hoodie.

Fraud Suspect Sought

Detectives from the Exploitation Unit are seeking to identify the subject and vehicle in the above photos. On January 7, 2008 between 2:00 p.m and 4:19 p.m., an elderly citizen was the victim of a fraud (pigeon drop) which resulted in a substantial loss of money.

Suspect#1 is a w/m, 5'09"-185lbs, 50 yoa.

Suspect#2  is a b/m, 5'09"-5'10", 185-190lbs, 55 yoa. The victim said that the b/m introduced himself as Orval.

Detectives have  little to go on, but discovered one of the suspects was captured on a surveillance camera outside a local bank. One the  photos shows the  w/m suspect. The other is the suspect's vehicle. The suspect's car is the one pulling away and is possibly a Cadillac.

VICTIM: Gregory McKinney

SYNOPSIS: On August 9, 2005, the body of twenty-one year old Gregory McKinney was found shot to death near Xanthus Avenue and Tecumseh Street. His body was discovered on a path in a wooded area where it crosses highway 75 going to B.C. Franklin Park. Investigators have good evidence and leads, but need additional witness information to solve this case.

Crime of the Week, 01/02/08

CRIME TYPE: Armed Robbery

DATE:  December 1, 2007
          
TIME: 10:50 p.m.

LOCATION:   1117 E. Pine Street

VICTIM: Popeye’s Chicken

SYNOPSIS: On December 1, 2007 at 10:50 p.m., Popeye’s Chicken located at 1117 E. Pine Street was robbed by four subjects. The employees of the restaurant were preparing to close when they were confronted by four males. The suspects were wearing ski mask and were armed with guns. The employees were ordered back inside the store and the manger was forced to open the safe. An undetermined amount of money was taken from the restaurant.  After the subjects left they were seen getting into a 2000-2002 model Chevrolet extended cab pickup with four doors, possibly silver in color. The employees believed that one suspect was a white male and the other three suspects were black males.

Crime of the Week, 01/02/08

LOCATION:   6100 E. 51st Street

VICTIM: Bank of the West

SYNOPSIS: On December 22, 2007, at 12:55 p.m., a black male came into the lobby of the Bank of the West at 6100 E. 51st Street, just before closing. The suspect was armed with a semiautomatic pistol. The suspect approached a teller and said “all the big money” the teller complied.  After the suspect received the money he turned and walked out of the bank. There was no vehicle seen. The suspect is described as a black male 23-28 years of age, 5’08” in height and weighing between 160 to 180 lbs. He was wearing black hoodie, black pants and white gloves. He also had a ripped panty hose covering his face.

Crime of the Week, 12/26/07

LOCATION:   7850 E. Admiral Place

VICTIM:  Dollar General

SYNOPSIS: On the evening of December 4, 2007 the Dollar General Store located at 7850 E. Admiral  Place was robbed.  The suspect entered the store armed with a black semi-automatic handgun. The suspect approached the register and stated “give me what’s in the register”. The clerk complied and the suspect put the money into a yellow plastic bag. The suspect then left the store through the front door. The suspect was described as a black male, 6’00” tall and 190 lbs. The suspect was wearing a blue stocking cap, brown jacket, dark colored Dickie pants and his face was covered. The suspect was seen leaving in a light green SUV that had been parked in front of the store.

Crime of the Week, 12/19/07

CRIME TYPE: Armed Robbery

LOCATION:  7020 E. Admiral Place

VICTIM:  Dominoes Pizza

SYNOPSIS: On November 19, 2007 at 8:35 p.m. the Domino’s Pizza located at 7020 E. Admiral Place was robbed by a black male. The suspect entered the business and produced a rifle from under his coat and robbed the business. The suspect ran to a nearby waiting vehicle and got into the passenger side of the vehicle as it fled westbound from the scene on Admiral Place. The suspect is described as a black male 20-27 yoa, 5’09” to 5’10” and 165lbs. He wore a dark colored ski jacket with a green or blue shirt underneath. The weapon was described as a short rife, possibly a .22 caliber. The suspect vehicle was described as a dark colored “boxy-style” vehicle, possibly a mid 80’s to early 90’s Chevrolet Monte Carlo or Caprice. The vehicle resembles an old police car.
