SYNOPSIS:
   On the listed date and time an unknown black male entered the bedroom of a 13 year old and began to touch the victim. The suspect was armed with a knife and threatened bodily harm if she screamed. The suspect attempted to rape the victim but ran when the victim screamed. The suspect is described as a black male in his thirties. Any person in the area at the time of the assault is encouraged to call Crime Stoppers if they saw anything unusual.

Crime of the Week, 12/22/08

CRIME TYPE:     Armed Robbery
DATE:      December 12, 2008
TIME:     11:50 AM
LOCATION:     7990 E. 51st St. Tulsa (Inside Food Pyramid)
VICTIM:     Bank of Oklahoma
SYNOPSIS: On 12-12-2008 at 11:50 AM a lone bandit walked into the BOK branch located inside the Food Pyramid at 7990 E 51 St. The suspect stands in line awaiting his turn for about four minutes. When he steps up to the teller he whispers 'This is a Robbery' The suspect has his hands concealed in his pockets. The Bandit flees the store through the east doors and runs south to E 53 Street. It is assumed the suspect has a vehicle in this area to make his escape.
The suspect is described as a W/M unshaven 30-40 years of age 5’06-5’08, 150-160 lbs. He is wearing a black jacket with patches that appear to be from a security service, and a black skull cap.

SYNOPSIS: On November 23, 2008 Tulsa Police responded to 7616 South St. Louis Ave. reference a man down. Upon arrival officers discovered victim Michael Ray Thomas B/M, lying in the middle of the street dead from apparent gunshot wounds. Detectives need help in locating witnesses to the crime.

CRIME TYPE: Homicide

LOCATION: 12938 E. 35th Place, Apartment 1516
VICTIM: Billy Wayne Alexander
SYNOPSIS: Homicide Detectives need help with solving a homicide. On October 4, 2008 at 11:39 p.m., officers were assigned to a shooting at the Sawmill Apartments located at 12938 East 35th Place, #1516. When officers arrived, they found the victim, Billy Wayne Alexander dead inside his apartment. Alexander had been shot multiple times. Witnesses observed 5 to 7 black males running from the victim’s apartment. The suspects entered a white 4 door vehicle and fled the scene. Detectives believe that the victim was murdered because of a dispute over money he reportedly owed to several individuals.

CRIME TYPE: 2nd Degree Burglary

LOCATION:  12716 E. Pine Street
VICTIM: Precise Machining
SYNOPSIS: Burglary Detectives need help with identifying a burglary suspect.  On Sunday, October 26, 2008 the suspect entered Precise Machining and stole computer equipment from the business. Surveillance video captures the suspect during the burglary. The suspect attempted to cover the cameras, but was captured by video before he was able to conceal his identity.  This suspect is also wanted in a theft that occurred at this business during the month of August. The suspect is a black male, 34-40 years old.

CRIME TYPE: Homicide
DATE: October 24, 2008
TIME: 9:00 p.m.
LOCATION: 3120 S. 108th E. Avenue
VICTIM: Carlos Humberto-Gutierrez
SYNOPSIS: Homicide Detectives need help with solving a homicide. On Friday, October 24, 2008 at 9:00 p.m., officers responded to a shooting at 3120 S. 108th E. Avenue. When officers arrived, they found Carlos Humberto-Gutierrez lying on the floor of the restaurant. The victim had been shot multiple times. Witnesses stated that the victim was approached by two Hispanic men outside of the restaurant, who asked the victim for a ride. Shortly after getting into the vehicle, the victim was shot. The victim exited his vehicle and ran into the restaurant where he collapsed. The suspects were last seen running from the scene. Witnesses said that the suspects who spoke in Spanish had a Central American accent. The suspects were described as two Hispanic men, 20-30 yoa. One suspect was 6’00” the other suspect was shorter. Both suspects were described as slender.

Crime of the Week, 11/03/08

CRIME TYPE: Assault& Battery with a Deadly Weapon
DATE: September 27, 2008
TIME:8:45 p.m.
LOCATION:3901 E. 21st @ Tulsa County Fairgrounds
VICTIM: Female
SYNOPSIS: The Tulsa County Sheriffs Department needs help locating the suspect in a knife attack. On September 27, 2008 the victim was attending the Boys II Men concert that took place during the Tulsa State Fair. The victim said that she was sitting down watching the concert when the suspect who was in front of her stood in a chair blocking her view. The victim asked the suspect to move but the suspect declined. When the victim attempted to move the suspect’s chair the suspect turned around and took a swing at the victim. The victim then noticed that she was bleeding from her neck. The victim had suffered a five to six inch cut to her throat. The suspect left the scene prior to Deputies arriving. The suspect was described as a black female, 25 yoa and 5’00”. The top of the suspect’s hair was described as being orange.

Crime of the Week, 10/27/08

CRIME TYPE:  Homicide
DATE:  October 5, 2008
TIME:  12:28 p.m.
LOCATION:  1243 S. 73rd E. Avenue
VICTIM:  Billy Ryder
SYNOPSIS: Homicide Detectives need help with solving a homicide. On October 5, 2008 at 12:28 p.m., officers were assigned to a shooting at 1243 S. 73rd E. Avenue. When officers arrived, they found the victim Billy Ryder suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he later died.  Wittnesses told detectives that two black males had forced their way into the victim’s apartment and demanded money. During the robbery, one of the suspects shot Ryder. The suspects took an undetermined amount of cash from the apartment. The suspects left the scene in a newer model silver Nissan Maxima or Altima. The suspects were described as black males, 5’05”-5’10”, medium build, wearing dark hoodies and black jeans.

Crime of the Week, 10/20/08

CRIME TYPE:  2nd Degree Burglary 
DATE:  September 11th  or 12th  2008
TIME:  6:00 p.m. & 10:00 a.m.
LOCATION:  4606 N. Garrison Avenue
VICTIM:  Suburban Acres Library
SYNOPSIS:  Burglary Detectives need help with identifying two burglary suspects. On the night of September 11th or during the early morning hours of September 12th 2008, two men stole the cooling units from the Suburban Acres Library located at 4606 N. Garrison Avenue.  Surveillance video captured the two suspects during the theft. The suspects can be seen loading the units into the bed of a red Chevrolet pick-up. Both suspects are black males, 5’09”-6’00”, and between 150-190 lbs. The suspects appear to be in the early to mid twenties.

Crime of the Week, 10/13/08

CRIME TYPE:  Armed Robbery
DATE:  September 21, 2008
TIME:  7:45 PM
LOCATION:  8716 E. 21st Street
VICTIM:  Family Dollar
SYNOPSIS: On September 21, 2008 at 7:45 p.m., the employees of the Family Dollar store locate at 8716 E. 21st Street had closed the store and were outside the store waiting for a ride. While standing outside a male subject wearing a ski mask came from around the corner and ordered the two employees back into the store.  Once inside the store the suspect ordered one of the employees to open the safe. The employee complied with the suspect’s demands. After getting the money, the suspect fled the store. The suspect is a male unknown race, 5’10”-6’00”, 180-200 lbs. The suspect was wearing a tan shirt with a brown stripe across, black jeans and a black ski mask. The suspect was also wearing gloves. There was no vehicle seen.
